There’s a strong connection between the discipline of project management and the Stage-Gate Process developed by Dr. Robert Cooper, Professor of Marketing at McMaster University in Canada. Here’s an article on the Stage-Gate Process written by Dr. Robert Cooper that outlines the connection.
